Slotmill was founded in 2019 by Johan Öhman, former President and CEO of NetEnt, leading a team that had prior experience developing and marketing popular slot games. Initially founded in Stockholm, they launched with a B2B license from Curaçao, making it easier to get their games into Curaçao casinos. Today, they are headquartered in Malta with offices in Sweden and Willemstad, Curaçao.

They have 40+ games in total – a small library that packs a much bigger punch than some other providers of their size.

If it weren’t for that smaller library, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Slotmill are an industry veteran that has been on the scene for a decade or so. While that smaller library might work against other providers, Slotmill is very conservative when exploring themes.

Creativity

In particular, Ragnarok stands out from a lot of other Norse slots because it moves the action away from Vikings, for once. In terms of game features, Slotmill has staked out several approaches that help keep action fresh with each new release. They also have a handy filter system on-site, so fans can scope out the different win systems and bonus features they offer.
