Hi Slotsoo team! Thanks for having me. My name is Marga Fernandez, I’m the Business Development Director at Amigo Gaming. My main responsibilities encompass negotiating with future partners, overseeing game release processes, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the continuous growth of the company.

4. What was the thinking behind Amigo Gaming’s Barcelona headquarters? Is the Catalan city becoming an iGaming hotbed?

Barcelona, and Spain as a whole, boasts a significant and growing iGaming market, which offers excellent infrastructure and robust support for all our business needs, making it an ideal location for our operations. As a result, Barcelona is increasingly becoming an iGaming hotbed, attracting industry leaders and fostering innovation in the sector.

5. With Amigo Gaming a mobile-first slot developer, what trends are you experiencing among casual slot players?

We understand that mobile gaming is the growing preference for players, as they seek convenience and the ability to play on-the-go. We’re also noticing a demand for visually appealing, high-quality graphics that enhance the gaming experience on mobile devices.

Players are increasingly drawn to games with engaging themes and innovative features that keep the gameplay fresh and exciting. Additionally, there’s a significant interest in quick, easy-to-understand gameplay that offers instant rewards, catering to the casual player’s desire for fast and entertaining sessions.

Adopting a mobile-first strategy and light games are also inclusive, allowing many players to access and enjoy our games regardless of their device.

6. Candy Time is one of your newest slot releases. What was your inspiration for this title?

The inspiration for Candy Time came from a combination of nostalgic influences and our office’s shared love for candies. We drew on memories of old games we used to play when we were younger, aiming to capture that sense of fun and excitement. We envisioned a colorful and vibrant universe that would bring a smile to player’s faces. We wanted to create a game that felt joyful and engaging, much like enjoying a favorite sweet treat.

7. You recently exhibited at iGB Amsterdam. What are the latest trends and talking points within the B2B iGaming scene?

One prominent trend is the shift towards mobile-first gaming. As more players engage with iGaming on their mobile devices, there’s a strong emphasis on optimizing game experiences for mobile platforms to ensure accessibility and convenience.

Another significant trend is the demand for games with engaging and innovative features. Players are increasingly looking for unique gameplay mechanics and captivating features that set games apart from the competition. This drive for innovation is pushing developers to explore new technologies and creative concepts to keep players entertained and coming back for more.

Additionally, games inspired by pop culture and cultural references are gaining traction. Integrating familiar themes and elements from popular culture resonates well with players.
