Bullshark Games Company Information

Bullshark Games launched in 2023, founded by Andre Villandberg in Tallinn, Estonia. After years of experience making slots, Villandberg wanted to strike out on his own and make games with a “from players, to players” mindset. The result was Bullshark Games.

By the end of their founding year, they’d partnered with Hacksaw Gaming and started crafting slots using their OpenRGS development platform. This furthered the reach of their slot games because Hacksaw have licenses with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), Hellenic Gaming Commission, and UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). With those powerful licenses behind them, they have access to a lot of international casinos.

Since their founding, they have averaged just six slot releases a year. They went into 2025 with just a dozen slots in their library, and now they’re stepping up development in the hopes of doubling that figure by the end of the year.

Did you know? The platform Bullshark Games uses – OpenRGS – is one of the biggest slot distribution networks in the world, guaranteeing access to 20+ regulated markets for their games.

Free Spins Offers for Bullshark Games

Bullshark Games is a new game provider that prefers a slow and steady pace, so their games haven’t attracted any dedicated Free Spins offers yet.

That said, their status under the Hacksaw Gaming umbrella should mean you can find them at several casinos worldwide. For example, Hell Spin Casino offers Ancient Paws, Clover Club, and Coop Clash as part of their Hacksaw selection. Likewise, Jettbet Casino does the same for other Bullshark releases like Junkyard Kings and Mafia Clash.

So, to find Bullshark Games slots, you may want to filter by Hacksaw as the provider. Then, when you find your game, you may be able to apply bonuses to it.

Games Provided by Bullshark Games

As mentioned, Bullshark Games are taking their time with new slot releases. They state that, as gamers at heart, they simply won’t launch slots that aren’t fun to play. That implies they’ve left a lot on the cutting room floor!

As for the themes of those games, they don’t like to follow trends so don’t expect repeated themes surrounding Greek gods, like Pragmatic Play exceeds at. Where they have played into popular themes, like with the Norse Valhalla: Wild Winter or the Irish Clover Club, they added their own thematic twists to help them stand out from the crowd. So far, they’ve covered a lot of different, varied settings with their small slot library.

There’s no uniformity to their current catalog – some are cartoonish and light-hearted; some are dark and mature. At a glance, some of their art styles can look same-y but it’s all high-quality.

News from Bullshark Games 2025

Bullshark Games is planning an aggressive expansion in 2025, doubling their slot output and incidentally, their whole catalog of games. They’re no doubt inspired by their Silver Medal won at the Kongebonus 2024 awards for Rising Star Game Developer.

To help fuel their new expansion, Andre Villandberg has put himself out there in interviews with their media partners (check out Andre’s interview with Slotsoo here). In those interviews, he highlights how their latest releases use special cluster pay and scatter pay mechanics because they believe players should be able to “win big on any single spin.”

Age of Seth April 22nd 2025 96.29%, 94.24% An Egyptian Cluster Pay slot where a grid booster bonus can create bigger clusters.
Ancient Paws April 1st 2025 96.16%, 94.25% An adventure slot where a furry explorer navigates 14 paylines and Expanding Wilds.
Clover Club March 25th 2025 96.31%, 94.25% A unique Irish slot that uses Multiplier Wilds alongside their Scatter Pay system.
Coop Clash February 4th 2025 96.15%, 94.21% A cartoonish animal army slot where wilds can also remove symbols entirely.
Valhalla: Wild Winter December 17th 2024 96.20%, 94.34% A Norse theme slot with a dark fantasy art style and a powerful global Multiplier.
Merlin’s Mania November 26th 2024 96.31%, 94.38% A magical wizard theme sequel slot to their earlier Merlin’s Academy title.

Bullshark Games Review

  • Clear focus on quality over quantity.
  • Have explored a variety of niches despite their small slot output.
  • Games are supported by the Hacksaw Gaming platform and their licenses.
  • Experimenting with different win types – paylines, Scatter Pay, Cluster Pay
  • Ambitious prospects for 2025 onward.
  • Smaller developer – means fewer slot options.
  • Art style between games can be repetitive.

It seems that Bullshark Games is a new studio with a bright future, for as long as they can keep providing unique, creative games with widespread market support. However, there’s a risk of tarnishing that uniqueness in the quest for consistency, creating titles that look and play too similarly.

Creativity

Bullshark Games isn’t just a creative studio, but one that’s willing to put creativity over anything else if its founder is to be believed. They’ve touched on an impressive array of themes even though they only have 15+ games at the time of writing. This is helped by the fact that they vary in tone – some games are lighthearted, others are darker. One of their earliest releases was Mafia Clash – a slot about the gritty criminal underworld.

While the differences in tone are appreciated, their current library does look split into two groups – two distinct art styles. Within those groups, some of their titles can look very similar. The trio of Ancient Paws, Clover Club, and Coop Clash are recent examples of this. They look like the cutesy animal fun that Booming Games does well, but they also look similar to one another.

Swapping over to the dark side, the same can be said for Valhalla: Wild Winter. It’s a dark fantasy take on Norse mythology – something we’ve seen from the Swedish game provider Yggdrasil Gaming.

While many Norse slots tend to stay away from the setting’s darker tones, Bullshark’s take on the Norse underworld looks great. However, if you put it next to titles like Empress of the Shadows or the newer Age of Seth, they have a distinct style. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily, but we think it will make their library less visually striking at a glance if this continues into the future.

Game Features

It’s easy for slot developers to boast about creativity in art style and then fall into a predictable rhythm with their game features. Bullshark Games recognizes this and tries to keep things creative and fresh with the backend of their slots too.

Of their last five releases, two have been Cluster Pays (Coop Clash, Age of Seth), one has used Scatter Pays (Clover Club) and two have used paylines (Valhalla: Wild Winter, Ancient Paws). One of their most popular games, Junkyard Kings, is a cluster slot too.

All of Bullshark’s games offer Free Spins as a baseline, and these can be purchased through various bonus buy options. In Age of Seth, players have four different alternatives to choose from. They can pay 5x or 50x for an increased chance of unlocking the bonus feature. To guarantee it, they can pay 100x or 500x – depending on how much extra stuff they want.

Their games are also generous with Multipliers, but there’s no predicting how they’ll be used. Some use Multiplier Wilds, others global Multipliers, for example. Most recently, they’re experimenting with Wilds in Coop Clash that can delete low-paying symbols from the grid.

We think Bullshark’s features are good for where they are in their development – they provide reliable support for players through the chance to win Free Spins, but they aren’t afraid to play with Wild and Scatter conditions. However, we’d argue that game feature stagnation is more common with older providers, so it remains to be seen if Bullshark can keep it up.

Bullshark Games was rewarded the Bonus Buyer trophy at our Game Provider Awards 2025, for offering multiple buy bonus options.

Winning Potential

If you hadn’t noticed yet, all of Bullshark Games’ slots have two RTP figures – one for the base game and another for the bonus rounds. They can also be changed by the casinos that host the slot – Hell Spin offers Bullshark slots with a boosted RTP while others like SlotParadise have Mafia Clash with an adjusted 94.3% RTP.

Looking at a mix of their oldest titles and their new releases, max wins are typically between 10,000x and 15,000x the player’s spin. Even their earliest game, Mafia Clash, offered 10,000x. That’s pretty generous for a new developer – there are established devs whose games offer less.

Bullshark rates their volatility out of 5 – most of them fall into either 3 or 4 – so medium to medium-high volatility. That makes sense given that ‘win big on any spin’ approach we mentioned – a big win out of nowhere would suggest slots with high volatility.

Bullshark Games’ Conclusion & Rating

Overall, Bullshark Games is clearly a developer that has put creativity first so far. They know that creativity goes beyond what art style they use – that choosing the right game features is also a creative decision. While those art styles may outstay their welcome in the future, we’re comfortable giving them a full 5 stars for creativity.

As for game features, they’re varied but tend to stick to some old reliable features like Free Spins. It’s too early to say yet if they’ll push the boundaries here, so we settled on 4 stars. We decided on a similar rating for winning potential – there’s not much to say about their RTP and volatility decisions, but they gained an extra star for their generous max win payouts.
